Sports day is a typical event generally held once a year in all schools. Most of the students participate and they are marked by different grades. Many times we see parents at our school on ‘Sports Day’ wishing they themselves could take part. We include races and different games on our ‘Sports Day’. Our school students excel at various levels at District, State and National by participating in different games as Rope Skipping, Football, Boxing, Kabaddi, Table Tennis and Judo.
DAVMMPS, Jenjara believe that play enhances every aspect of child’s development and learning. In fact, it is child’s window to the external world and forms the foundation of social, intellectual, physical and emotional skills that are requisite for success in school as well as life.
The very idea of including play, in required ratio with the academics, fulfills the prime objective of enriching students with creativity and thinking skills. To accomplish this, we allow students to explore different environments by providing them playfields and facilities for basketball, Cricket, Taekwondo, Swimming, etc.
Apart from giving students opportunities, we foster their level of confidence with words of appreciation along with prizes and awards at events organized in the school.
Cricket Academy: The school aims at the holistic development of the child and understands the need of 21st century and wants to prepare its student in diverse career options. Keeping same in mind DAVMMPS, JENJARA has come up with a cricket academy to teach the new nuances of cricket to young inspiring cricketer under the able guidance of coaches to be more active and efficient.
Synthetic Tennis Ground: Tennis is a fascinating game which requires a ton of high-gifted abilities .It is a good sport for maintaining health, fitness, strength and agility. It also has social and psychological benefits. An important part of learning tennis is learning to trust yourself and your instincts.
Volleyball: Volleyball is a great team sport that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and skill levels. It acts as an alternative and highly effective way of reaching one’s fitness goals in a fun engaging way. Whatever your reason may be, the physical, mental and emotional benefits of playing volleyball are unparalleled., It gives the entire body a good workout, including the shoulders, upper and lower body, legs and is an excellent cardiovascular exercise.

Athletics: Athletics is an exclusive collection of sporting events that involve competitive running, jumping, throwing, and walking. The most common types of athletics competitions are track and field, road running, cross country running, and race walking. Athletics not only builds you physically but it helps in body coordination and gives you mental stiffness.
Karate: Karate is a martial art that was originally created in Japan. The main idea of karate is battling and defending by using defensive and counteroffensive body movements including punches and kicks. The psychological and ethical characteristics of karate aim to advance and improve the student in general. DAVMMPS, JENJARA has also been initiating for this art to meet students needs in the 21 century.
Kabaddi: It is an ancient game which teaches to live in the discipline, creates a sense of brotherhood and spirit of co-operation. It makes us healthy and strong. It is amusing, exciting and full of interest. DAVMMPS, JENJARA keeps students in touch with its traditional roots and hence introduces the game.
